We are so excited to become parents!
Putting this profile together was not an easy task for us since we generally avoid talking about ourselves, let alone putting our life out there for the world to see. The desire to grow our family is a powerful motivator, though, and we hope this gives a glimpse of who we are and why we will provide a loving and supporting home.
Our life path has brought us to this moment and we are excited about the opportunity to become parents through adoption. Becoming parents has always been important to us, and we will learn and grow as parents as time goes on, always making sure your child feels loved and supported. We fully support open adoption and will make sure that your child understands their culture. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us better.
Our story
We met 8 years ago, actually the last profile we each wrote was a dating profile and that’s what brought us together.
Although neither of us are overly talkative our first date was spent talking for hours. We quickly found that we had a great deal in common. Our sense of humor and love for family have always been a strong connection between us.
Over the last 8 years we have grown a lot as individuals and as a couple. During this time, we got married and bought a house. Through all of this we’ve learned more about compromising and relying on each other.
We both work full time jobs that we enjoy, five days a week, but our favorite time of the day is when we sit down for dinner each night together. This is the time we get to connect and decompress with each other.
We enjoy our time at home but we also love taking trips around the country together. Some of our favorite memories are the times we spent exploring different places like Maine, Hawaii and San Francisco.
After struggling with infertility for years, we realized that our ultimate goal is to become parents and grow our family. This brought us to adoption, which will allow us to be a parent to a child. This realization has bought us so much excitement and happiness.

Both of us were raised Catholic and still attend Church. We believe the most important part is the values and sense of community it instills.

Our home and family
We bought our forever home four years ago and we’ve been slowly making it our own over time.
One of the first things that drew us to this house was the neighborhood. It is on a quiet street in a great school district. We knew this would be a great place for our future child to grow up. Our home is also surrounded by family. Both our parents are a short drive away and we even have siblings and nieces and nephews who moved to the same town. We always loved the idea of being close to family and being able to share special moments with them.
We both grew up in this area of New Jersey and one of the things we love is its proximity to major attractions. Fun family trips to the Jersey Shore, New York City, Poconos, etc. are all short car trips away.
We are very fortunate to be surrounded by family and friends that are supportive and excited about our decision to grow our family through adoption. We are both very close with our parents and they all live within a 15 minute drive from our home. This makes it easy for us to get together for dinner or just stop by and say hello.

We will be flexible and adjust as we learn about being a parent. It is important to us that our future child knows that they are our first priority and that they can come to us whenever they need.
